Randi practiced as Public Defender of Syracuse from September 1988 until January 1994 handling both trials and appeals. Randi has been in private Practice since January 2004.

Randi has handled dozens of "high profile" cases in upstate New York which were the subject of intense newspaper and television coverage including one case which appeared on Ted Koppel's "Nightline". Former jurors in cases where Randi has represented clients at a Jury Trial have contacted her after the trial was concluded and asked her to represent them or one of their family members.

Randi has lectured numerous times for the New York State Bar Association as well as Syracuse University College of Law on topics of Criminal Law. Each time, she receives tremendous reviews from other lawyers as well as law students and is always asked to return to speak.
